These free pirate coloring pages are a great activity to have in your back pocket for your party. Sometimes kids can be shy and having a quiet art station they can sit down at while they adjust to the crowd can help them feel more comfortable.
Printable Pirate Hats
Get all of your little mates into the pirate spirit with these DIY Pirate Hats. These are a great prop to give your guests as they arrive. Alternatively, it's also a fun activity for the kids to complete at the party. You could even have a game where they "pimp their Pirate Hat" and provide sparkles and glitter pens for them to decorate it in their own style.
A birthday won't be complete without a stunning birthday cake. I've seen this Pirate themed birthday cake design and I super love it! You can be a little extra for your birthday Pirate and make a 3-layered birthday cake for everyone to enjoy.

Pirate Ship Brownies
Now let's start with the food ideas that you can serve in your Pirate themed party. My first food idea which is very cute is this Pirate Ship made of brownies! Just add a stick and a paper to serve as the sail of the boat/ship on top of your brownies.
Pirate Fish Biscuits
Here's another food idea which is very easy to do. Buy some fish biscuits in the nearest grocery stores and put them in a big bowl. Label them as "the catch" for your little pirates to munch in.
Pirate Peg Legs Pretzels
Another treat to serve at the party is pretzel sticks! You can label it with "Pirate Peg Legs" which is very witty.
Pirate Gold Chocolates
A pirate always looks for gold! Don't forget to serve this gold coin and bar chocolates at your party for kids to enjoy. This is a very cool idea to add to any Pirate Party. Not to mention that these gold chocolates are cheap and easy to find.
Pirate Cannon Cheese Balls
Another food idea to serve at Pirate Parties is this cheese balls that will serve as the cannonballs. Put it in any big jars or bowls and you are good to go.
Pirate Sea Water
Now let's go to the drinks, shall we? Here's a witty label to put in your plain water or blue lemonade - "Sea Water"! Pirates live on the sea, so seawater must always be in the picture.
Pirate Poison Soda Drinks
If you want to serve more drinks like sodas, you can add some "poison" labels to it too. Kids will surely love this idea!
Pirate Tattoo Parlor
For the party activities, you can set up a mini Tattoo Parlor at your party. Buy some temporary tattoos and let the kids try them out on their skin. A pirate knows how to choose a good fierce tattoo. Just make sure an adult or an older kid will assist the little ones in putting the temporary tattoos on.
Pirate Pin-the-Patch Game
Another fun activity to do at your Pirate Party is this Pin-the-patch game. The kid who pinned the nearest patch on the eye of the pirate wins! You can buy this template I saw on Etsy.
Pirate Photo Booth Props
If you plan to set up a photo booth at your party then make sure to make or buy some Pirate photo booth props! This downloadable Pirate photo booth template I saw on Etsy is a cute one.
Pirate Paint-a-Chest Activity
If your little pirate is an artsy one, you can also set up an activity where kids can paint their own chest. You can purchase small wooden chest online and add some poster paints and brushes at your "Paint-a-chest" corner.
Pirate Hook Toss Game
A fun game to play at a Pirate Party is this Hook Toss Game. Set up a board with Pirate hooks on it and make your guests toss plastic hoops to it. The one who gets to put the hoop into the hook gets a price!
Pirate Canonball Toss Game
Another game you can organize is this Cannonball Toss Game. Just prepare some black balloons and fill it with water or any liquid you want. This might be a little messy to play if the water balloon burst but it will be a fun game for everyone.
