unicorn Popcorn recipe

If you are having a unicorn party then you should definitely consider making some unicorn-themed food. Unicorn food is any food or drink that has been making super colorful. It is usually a rainbow and pastel. While there are a few bloggers who have been making these colorful food creations for a while, it was Starbucks that brought this colorful food to the masses. Starbucks put a Rainbow Unicorn Frappuccino on its menu and it made the unicorn food craze a global sensation.  While this colorful food looks amazing, it can be tricky to make and some recipes are dreadfully unhealthy. If you are looking for something simple to make then unicorn popcorn might be the perfect treat. It’s tasty, it looks magical and it’s super easy to make.  Here are some great options to get your creative ideas popping.

  1. Hey Carolyne,

I love your website. It is very colorful and full of excellent recipies.
My personal favourite is the colored popcorn recipe from The Decorated Cookie.
I love the fact that it is not complicated and at the same time it is still delicious.

  2. Thanks for these great unicorn popcorn ideas. I’m sure my daughter will love this.

My daughter and her friends are big unicorn fans and when they see this surprise popcorn next birthday they will definitely have a lot of fun eating it.

How did you get the idea of making these? I think this is very inspired.

  3. Wow. Some amazing ideas to liven up a traditional movie night at home. My grand-daughter usually spends every other week-end with us and any one of these ideas will thrill her! Also got my two youngest still at home and this will just blow them away.

  4. This looks like diabetes in a bowl. While it is pretty, I’m sure no one is eating this for their health! Visually it is gorgeous. Do you have other recipes that may be a bit healthier for kids?

    • Yes! Working on it for an upcoming post. With three kids we can end up at multiple parties on a single weekend and if they were all candy filled, I would not cope.

  5. I am pretty sure that this dessert will be one of our favorites when my daughter grows up a little bit! And all girls love unicorns 😀 so yeah, definitely something I will have to look in a very near future.
I liked that you offered some options for this dessert like you can make it yourself or buy a pre-made one.
And I like that you can start with the simple and then add more into it. I think the more complicated one will suit perfectly to the theme birthday parties!
    Great idea!
