I’m back with another Thanksgiving craft to share! This DIY Thanksgiving Wreath Craft is perfect for getting the kids involved in the fall decor and contributing to the preparations for Thanksgiving. This tutorial comes with a free template for the wreath, so this craft is perfect for toddlers, preschoolers and older kids alike.

DIY Thanksgiving Turkey Paper Wreath

Cute and Easy Thanksgiving craft for kids. Easy paper wreath craft.


  • Printed Thanksgiving Turkey Paper Wreath Template
  • Googly Eyes
  • Yarn or any string


  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Hole Punch


  1. Download our free template from our Freebie Library and print it out.
  2. Cut page 1 and 2 of the template.
  3. Punch a hole in the upper part of the brown circle.
  4. Insert a string and tie it.
  5. Assemble the turkey and add two google eyes.
  6. Glue the turkey into the brown circle.
  7. Cut out the feathers from page 3 of the template.
  8. Glue each feather onto the brown circle.
  9. Now glue the ribbon that says "Thanksgiving" at the bottom part of the circle.
  10. Hang the paper wreath.

And you’re done! This easy and fun craft project will be a cute addition to your fall decorations. I hope your kids will love creating this project with you, too.
